Camp Kanga is just 1.5klm below the dam wall, approximately 2klm from boat ramp.

 

Lake Proserpine is stocked with Barramundi, Sootie Grunter and Saratoga.

Red-claw are also abundant at present so don't forget the pots. 4 per person.

Fishing permits are essential and available from Camp Kanga. $7 for a weekly or $35 for a year.

The boat ramp at the lake has easy access in all weather.
